Awareness & Education
With the advent of ARV treatment HIV+ children can live full, productive lives. Even have healthy families of their own. These days it is poverty, ignorance and fear that gives HIV its power.
We believe that one of the strongest responses to HIV is to help people get a better understanding of HIV and its impact - especially on the lives of children. All people, adults and children, whether they are infected or not, need to know about HIV. And not just facts - medical, statistical or otherwise.
We can facilitate discussions, run workshops & events that will help create a better awareness of aspects of the HIV pandemic and how we can respond to it.

Our experience in community work has taught us that there are many people who want to begin to address the plight of children in their community, but don't know how to begin or feel inadequate.
Other people want to stir up the community to work together to help address the needs of children.
We offer workshops and other training that help ordinary community adults begin to make a difference in the lives of the children around them. And we have programs and courses to create or strengthen child care forums and networks.
